Rick Heeren, Minnesota Coordinator for the United States Strategic Prayer Network (USSPN), published a book in 2004 entitled, The Threshing Floor: Minnesota, God’s Threshing Floor for the Nation. This book captured the prophetic word and related Scriptures brought forth by Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets during their visit to Minnesota. Here is an excerpt from Rick’s preface to that book:

“Chuck Pierce and Dutch Sheets [visited] all fifty states plus the District of Columbia during 2003-2004. They visited Minnesota on August 4-5, 2003. Minnesota was the 23rd state that they had visited up until that time. The vision for the 50 state tour [was] to visit all fifty states plus the District of Columbia in order to declare the redemptive plan over each state, and to call forth the resident anointing in the people of each state.”

Chuck Pierce in his Foreword to The Threshing Floor, wrote,

“The word for Minnesota was: You are the THRESHING FLOOR for our nation. Rick Heeren has recapped in this book called The Threshing Floor: Minnesota, God’s Threshing Floor for the Nation, a tremendous prophetic prayer blueprint for how to pray to see a state transformed. Minnesota is preparing for Harvest. In the Bible, a threshing floor was a level and hard-beaten plot in the open air on which sheaves of grain were threshed. The top of a rock was the favorite spot to develop this floor where the sheaves were spread out and sometimes beaten. Oxen were usually yoked side by side and driven around over the grain. The threshing floors were watched all night to guard against theft. Minnesota is becoming a ‘Rock at the Top’ of our nation for Harvest. Minnesota is also becoming a watchman state to watch over the Harvest of our nation.”
